Ok, here goes, my first blog:
I'd like to introduce myself, but before that, I'd like to explain myself. You see when I email people, I tend to add parenthesis (). A lot! Like you are getting a glimpse into the inner workings of this fascinating (crazy) brain of mine. If you've ever seen the show Dexter (thank you Showtime) it's like when he's talking to himself and you can hear it (and by the way, if you haven't seen Dexter...what? Go watch it!).
Another thing, I'm very funny (sarcastic)! Sometimes the humor (sarcasm) comes across too strong when people don't know me and I'm hoping (please like me) that you'll enjoy these blogs and get to know me. Then you'll understand where I'm coming from.
That said (and I can ramble for hours!)...
It all started too many years ago to count but I'll skip a couple decades to the flight attendant years. Here's the basics...
In the smallest nutshell I can muster (did I say I could ramble for hours?) I am married to a really great guy (really, I am!) and have 3 really great boys (they actually obey and stuff!) and also have a male chocolate lab (um, yeah, lots of testosterone here).
I was a flight attendant for 13 glorious, fun filled years. I had 3 delightful little boys and decided it was time for me to quit the high flyin' glamour job to be home with them (they need me!). I am grateful not to have to leave for several days a month, but sometimes miss the break (honesty-did I mention the testosterone here?).
I love to play! Doesn't matter what, it's just better than work (oh, but there's still work to be done..hmm maybe another blog for that).
I have a great group of Girl Friends who will remain nameless and (heh, heh, heh) most likely end up in a post or two depending on their shenanigans.
I like to bake because there's sugar involved (and I don't cook very well). I like golf but I stink at it (and don't do it very often), and so far I like blogging!
But before this becomes a novel fit for publishing (it can't be that easy) I'll end this 'all about me' post and return soon with some more great reads for you.
Until then...
Dawn
